Been a long few weeks but a really great weekend.
Took the car out on July 3 to shake the car down for Waterfest25 and it was a ****show. Car was missing intermittently, would only start on the...
Same specs as last time.
Likely problems with vvt with that much removed. Done .030Ē on a 12v but only skim the 24v as little as needed.
My advice buy pistons w the right compression height.
Good mounts and bushings go a long way. As you said the last piece is tires. Slicks wonít hop.
That makes sense if measuring the ms side. 12v would mean the output is off, ground would be on.
Wire colors are right make sure you are checking the right pins. Most diagrams are shown looking at the connector back toward ecu, so if you are looking at the harness connector unplugged it would be...
Just got a kit for the pins if it happens again
Crank pulley came off again on a test hit on Sat. Key is gone and crank is .035Ē under where it should be. Luckily its less than .001Ē out of round. Fix for now is a shim in the pulley to take up the...
Those pin # sound odd as 1-2 and 7-19 are all grounds in a normal ms harness.
Donít do #1. I know fourthchirpin found something to work. Will alert him to your q.
Timing if anything looks aggressive. You can loose power from too much even without knock.
Also verify WITH A TIMING LIGHT that when timing is set to 0deg fixed that you see the tdc mark on the...
The stock fuel system on a cis car will outflow a walbro 255 readily and out do the aem at higher pressures.
I learned that after a point obd1 will fight you and it will win. Then you end up on standalone.
The ecu uses timing as part of the idle stabilization strategy. I would be more worried if it didnít jump around.
Yeah I know how that one ends up. Just get standalone now before you lose your hair like I did.
If standalone is an option you can easily run the 60-2 with a waste spark coil and no distributor at all.
Not sure about the mil code but I think you cant have any sai codes to enable fuel trim. Plug the relay back in and see.
See above, no one does it because anyone that has done it is now too old to remember.
I remember the 20v cam gear but thats about it and I did it at least twice.
