      it's not dangerously low. but it could be better....

      it's not dangerously low. but it could be better. if you're 100% sure it's the tensioner causing the noise, you could try a 5/50 or 10/60 grade oil.

      I wouldn't ever use silicone on a tensioner. they should be fitted dry and nipped up lightly or torqued down. there is also a chance the strainer in the sump is partially blocked.
