Check out the show photos (in the 'night of driving ideas' gallery) and it looks kinda Chargerish (or what a Charger should look like) from the rear. It's cool, but a big departure for Lambo... with maybe the exception of the Portofino. I got in a discussion about this with Frank Marcus from MT. I said I wished it used more heritage... maybe an Espada wagon back. Frank, rather rightly, pointed out that Lambo rarely looks backwards. Fair point, but modern interpretation (say Countache elements in the Gallardo) can make a modern design more classic.
They didn't drive this one out. As far as I know it's a non-running concept. We'll see what production looks like as I believe that's Winkelman's intent. I didn't have a chance to stop by the Lambo stand today, but will get more shots in the AM tomorrow.
