I agree no quattro for 2.0t with manual is sad a mistake on Audi part.
Also, Johan de Nysschen, Executive Vice President of Audi of America, Inc. quoted this “Our goal is to be the most respected premium car manufacturer by 2015, and we are well on our way,” Johan, if you want Audi to be most respected then keep the cars to its original and provide US customers same quality and options as in Europe. When I say original I mean front and rear lamps, amber turn signals, light switch, rear fog lights, euro trunk plate etc. I should not have to change all these parts so my A3 is original especially my tail lamps to a safer more visible amber turn signals. Red turn signal is not Euro, not German, not Audi; it must affect company's image in some way. Does Audi is trying to save money? apparently and that will not make Audi most respected premium car manufacturer. Audi should not look at other Brands, especially US brands (we know how "well" they are doing). I believe one day we will drive the same exact Audi my friends drive in Europe.
Any idea if these changes apply to Canada as well ? (exept the prices of course; we get screwed up here bad!) The A3 with Quattro would be nice although it would come with DSG.
