DETROIT, MI -- AutoWeek magazine, America's only weekly automotive-enthusiast magazine, has just announced its picks for the "Top 5 Fuel-Efficient Cars You Actually Want to Drive." The list highlights vehicles that save money at the gas pump and produce smiles behind the wheel. While it is easy to choose a car based solely on the highest miles per gallon on the window sticker, there are only a few that can uniquely offer a combination of fuel-efficiency, styling and impressive driving dynamics. Out of the many offerings, these five stand out for those reasons and more.
Huh, was this Top 5 in the world, or just America? I thought AutoWeek was an American publication. Didn't know there was a 2008 diesel TT (or even one expected over here). I was expecting to see the 2.0TFSI listed.
Yeah, and the Tesla isn't on sale yet. Still, I don't know AutoWeek's full set of criteria, but the 2.0T and especially upcoming 2.0T quattro would qualify IMHO.
