At the Tokyo Motor Show (24.10. - 11.11.2007) Audi is unveiling the metroproject quattro, an original, characteristically Audi design study for the sub-compact segment. As to the design, I love the greenhouse, especially the look without the "B" pillars. Oddly enough, I dislike chrome, but the chrome on the sides of the greenhouse look great.

My only design complaint is the front overhang: big schnoz like pre-MLP Audis. I suppose this is what we get for sharing the Polo platform, huh?

For the US market, I hope that Audi understands that one of the reasons for the success of Mini is the highly customizable nature of the product - essentially allowing you to individualize the car. In fact, I hope Audi takes this to heart for the rest of its product line as well!
