At the Tokyo Motor Show (24.10. - 11.11.2007) Audi is unveiling the metroproject quattro, an original, characteristically Audi design study for the sub-compact segment. The three-door four-seater car blends dynamic styling with exemplary economy of space and supreme quality in trailblazing fashion. At the same time, a series of visionary technical solutions take efficiency, dynamism and motoring pleasure into new territory as only Audi knows how.
As to the design, I love the greenhouse, especially the look without the "B" pillars. Oddly enough, I dislike chrome, but the chrome on the sides of the greenhouse look great.
My only design complaint is the front overhang: big schnoz like pre-MLP Audis. I suppose this is what we get for sharing the Polo platform, huh?
For the US market, I hope that Audi understands that one of the reasons for the success of Mini is the highly customizable nature of the product - essentially allowing you to individualize the car. In fact, I hope Audi takes this to heart for the rest of its product line as well!

That's not the same.... Audi Exclusive is WAY over priced for what they offer. Interior color change alone will kill your wallet. Mini is so successful due to customization. You aren't pigeon holed into packages. You make it the exact way you want and not just a list of 5-7 options... oh wait Exclusive makes it 9
