 \Never mind the very act of building such a car, it was a bold move on Audi’s part just to name its production sports car, based very closely on the 2003 Le Mans concept, with the legendary alphanumeric title “R8”. That moniker was born and burned into the minds of motorsport aficionados by the company’s now-retired R8 racecar - a car that took a stunning 65 victories out of 80 starts during its seven-year competition history. Clearly you have no idea what the point of this car is! This isn't meant to compete with the Z06. It's meant to compete with a 911 and it does that quite well Nice write up George. Awesome video!

Can you also speculate on it's tire wear, oil consumption, and anymore duplicate entries other than faster and faster? All of what you wrote is all based on no information. I will say that the Vette is going to be the better deal pretty much no matter what, but that R8 is a great car........

Finally a car from VW/Audi that doesn't fully resemble a jellybean on wheels. They managed to smudge this one into a sharper, flatter shaped bean.
