We’ve been plenty happy with Project A3 DSG since the installation of a KW Variant 3 coilover suspension. However, there’s always room for improvement, and thought we might be able to make the Audi a little bit more lively around corners with the installation of a rear sway bar. To that end, there is a selection of offerings on the market to choose from, and one of the more interesting is a Neuspeed 25mm adjustable unit sourced through North American Motorsports (www.namotorsports.net).
yes, stiffer bar in the rear makes rear come out more, you would think its a paradox or just plain straight
what kind of silly comment is that?
and yes, read the article and it explains understeer and oversteer.

ProjectA3 is this a typ-o on neuspeed part? "3-position adjustable bar"
3 position: Both front holes, both rear holes, one front one rear. Weight is really negligible and overemphasized. The stock bar is already fairly light. All the tubular construction allows you to do is increase stiffness without adding 2-3lbs.
As a fellow V3 owner, I've read your (as always) excellent article with interest.
As of yet, I have refrained from adding roll stifnes with bars, and have relied solely on rebound stiffness to induce oversteer. The fact that the rear dampeners have to be removed to adjust rebound is a pain, but it is an essential setting. Have you tried different rear rebound settings?
Mine started with the KW-recommended 2 turns open, then went to 1-3/4 open and is now at 1.5 open. This latest setting, coupled with O rear toe and only -1.25 rear camber, gives tremendous lift-off oversteer: I couldn't imagine wanting/needing more.
However, this comes at the price of comfort: the rear dampeners don't let the rear of the body raise after a bump, which is felt as harshnes by passengers... Aproblem not induced by stiffer rear bars...
Anyways: thanks for keeping up your great work!
