Hey, thanks for helping me find the name!

my wrists took me forever to find a good artist. i eventually found Lars at Evolved here in c-bus, and he did exactly what i waned. i wanted them to them look like henna, and they actually change color with my core body temperature! [which i think is awesome!] everyone who sees them for the first time always asks if they are real and tries to wipe them off... lol or tries to "argue" with me and tell me that it really IS henna. here is a [goofy] pic:

and i am currently working on a leg piece. i drew these up a few years ago, and again, it took forever to find an artist who actually got excited to do the work. i met this guy Christian at Under the Gun through a friend, and immediately he was jumping out of his seat and wanting to get started asap. i only had the coin for 1 sitting [which was actually an x-mas present from my mom ], so i only have the koi on the inside of my left leg, next time i will get the outline for the phoenix that will be on the outside. my leg will be full color when its all done, but here are some pics:

and this is an early sketch of the phoenix, i have since changed the orientation to fit on my leg better and i can get a new picture if you guys are interested in seeing it.

let me know what you guys think

thank you. to be honest, they are loosely based on celtic knotwork, and tribal designs... there is no meaning behind either one of them... they are purely forms that flow, and fit my body.

my right wrist was a doodle from class way back in high school... all my pages in every notebook was covered in doodles and pictures... there were probably more drawings then words! but i fell in love with the design. a couple years later... it ended up on my wrist!

btw i tentatively decided to get a black/grey rose under the red one and tie it into a barong (balinese "protector" thingy. potentially adorable and with personal significance!) hopefullyyy in a similar style as my outline rose, but with color. i need to tie these random things together

Oh, c'mon, this is about sharing our work/ink, etc. If someone doesn't like it, fook'em. Personally, I love seeing all the different styles, talents, designs, etc., despite the occasional flame. Regardless, enjoy your new ink, I'll have more next week myself...

lol thanks i was making a face at my ex as i mocked her... instead of her taunting back she took that damn picture... lol

see when they "fade" they turn more red. when they darken the really turn into a dark henna color...

found one of them when the were a bit darker then the above pic. [i don't really have any pics of them when they are more red/faded]
