A lot of this kind of thing, but with lesser cars. I simply don't get into exotics any more. I want old stuff and an idealized garage in which to build them with a separate building for dismantling/blasting/cleaning. And maybe a third building for painting. In a booth. Yeah, that's what I want.

And a modern daily driver or three, of course.

If money suddenly became no object, to start, I'd start by working on the cars I have:

STI: would go in for a built motor, new turbo, Ohlin coilovers, rear camber adjustment. Goal would be around 440whp with an emphasis on quick spool and good road manners. Suspension would be tuned to be sharp but retain stock or better comfort.

Alfa: I'd go whole hog. Alfaholics sequential manual transmission (made by Quaife), GTA-R suspension setup, OS Gikken LSD, fancy paint job, twin-charged built motor with monoblock liner (500whp goal), custom interior.

Then, I'd buy some collector's cars, starting with Alfas:

      A GTam

A Tipo 33 Stradale (if one ever comes up for sale):

With my dream Alfas in the garage, I would then buy a couple of trackday specials. Maybe build a Superlight SLC:

And then an open-wheel car of some sort. Nothing tooo crazy, maybe a Formula 4. I could sponsor some kid on his way up through the ranks.

Then something fun and common for club racing, like a spec miata:

I'd also buy a nice toy hauler motorcoach to cart around my collection:

The Tipo 33 is probably never going to happen, but everything else could be had for around $1 million in total. I don't think I'd really want to own 100+ cars like Jay Leno (too much work), and I wouldn't want to daily anything too extravagant. I need to get rich, but not THAT rich

Dave and Barry make good examples IMO.

I am not a Leno type. I would have a bunch of stuff that y'all would consider boring.

H: ITR, S2K, NSX, keep my Si = VTEC Heaven

      BMW: E34M, E90M, 1M or M2.

      I'd want a McLaren of some kind...a Ferrari GT4C Lusso, and a wicked 911, a GT3 RS most likely. And a TT-RS or RS3.

Counting my Golf that's at least 10...more than enough.
Past: '06 Accord V6, '95 Taurus SHO, '01 ITR, '98 Civic HX CVT

I would buy the Sport model of each brand:

      Focus RS
      Fiesta ST
      SRT linup

      etc etc
      Easy like Sunday Morning.

Don't really care for exotics, I'd start with a small fleet maybe add some classics later.
      5th gen 4Runner Camping/Offroading/Daily

      AP1 or AP2 S2000 Always wanted an S2K

      MK7 R (DSG) Her Daily

G8 GXP I want some 'Murica, these are unique and should hold their value. But I'd maybe go Scat Pack Charger instead.

      981 Cayman S I want a Porsche flat 6 behind my head.

I'd probably pick up an early manual V8 Vantage too. Easily one of the prettiest cars ever made IMO and they're relatively cheap now.

You can even build one for around ~$60k, although It would end up closer to $100k if built the way I would want it. I like these so much more than the bog-standard exotics. Those may be "bespoke", but none of them are yours the way building one of these would be. You pick absolutely everything except the basic chassis.

I'd love to have enough dollars to be able to not work and buy parts, so I could work on the cars and maintain them...and in some cases, commission parts to be made.

      As far as cars:
      1) Current Corrado, finally completed to my liking and potentially repainted.
      2) Torn between an R32 Skyline and an R34 Skyline.
      3) 2005 Toyota Rav4 - because my mom's has been the epitome of reliability.
      4) Mitsu EVO 5 or 9...undecided.
      5) 1983 VW GTI, black on red...just like my parents owned when I was born.

There are an infinite number of pocket rockets, hot matches, and performance sedans from the 80s and 90s that I lust after...but unsure of what I would geniunely want to own.

The Trackhawk wouldn't be a great tow vehicle for a Demon. Not enough tow capacity. Personally, the Demon does absolutely nothing for me, especially if I have unlimited funds and a whole stable of cars. If I'm buying a drag car, I'm buying a street legal pro mod that would make the Demon look wimpy.

Really? I thought I read that the Trackhawk was rated for 7200lbs, and the Demon was 4500 or so? I may be way off but I swear I recall seeing that and thinking it would be a ridiculous rich person setup.
