      As weird as this sounds, I'm excited for the detail and paint correction photos.

      Sick car. Again... However, I just don't see that blue coordinating with your girl's eyes as well as the orange did.

      On an unrelated note, I can't believe Stryker medical didn't hire an army of lawyers to slap the taste out of dodge's mouth for even thinking about spelling that word that way.

      Dodge/SRT outbid Ford for a collaboration with Stryker - more of these tricky to drive cars out there means more patients in hospital beds.

      Well done. Chevy is the real loser here though. A cross promotion where you'd get a free corvette with the purchase of two knee or hip replacements would have been a massive stryke.

      I have no clue what it sounds like as I have never turned the radio on yet

      In fact I haven't even taken delivery of the car yet, have been too tied up and need to wait until Friday at the earliest.

      I would so kill myself in that car. It would be a glorious death!

      Very nice! Good luck with it! Amazing color too.

      Still wondering how that motor sounds at full wot. I was thinking about SRT10 6 speed work truck as an upgrade to my Ranger. It's stupid, I love it.

      Question though. In my opinion, the driver's seat bottom center looks like way more than 6k miles worth of wear. Does the leather not hold up very well?
      Follow up on this, got great news today, Dodge will warranty both of the seats for the wrinkling in the cushion. So I will get 2 new seats and the factory has changed their process to eliminate this bunching up. Very pleased.

      That is fantastic! The loose looking leather would kill my OCD, and I know your attention to detail.

      Love the car man, can't wait to see the little tweaks. I'm guessing you have some wheel spacers and suspension (lowering) mods sitting on your dining room table already?

      Haha how did you know

      I have the following sitting on the table;

      • K&N Drop in
      • Crank underdrive pulley & belt
      • Fuse box heat-shield
      • Shifter
      • Hub/Wheel-centric custom spacers F & R

      Hopefully picking the car up tomorrow and can get to playing with it over the weekend. In addition to rounding out the bolt ons I hope to go through all the fluids/hydraulics and get the wheel/tires balanced (in my presence) and get an alignment.

      Took delivery of the car on Friday, happiest day of my life I can't even put into words how much I love this new one. It took everything I loved about the previous 2 (the performance, looks, exclusivity, etc) and garnished it with a dose of refinement. I'll have a more in depth review for you guys when I have time to put pen to paper (can we say that anymore?).

      Taking delivery, and the first drive home;

      All tucked into our garage;

      Next morning I popped up like a kid on Christmas morning, eager to drive the car to my buddies place to bolt on some small goodies.

      On the agenda;

      -K&N Drop-in
      -IPSCO Crank UDP
      -Dayco Belt
      -MGW Gripper Shift knob
      -Carbon plate frame

      Did the shift knob first, easy peasy. The shifter on the TR6060 is absolutely perfect from the factory (and its further improved still, for the gen 5s). I do prefer shorter throws than the oem knob provides, so I tend to swap the handle. I always buy the same MGW unit as muscle memory dictates its shape/weight remain the same as in my previous snakes.

      I wish there was an option to have it wrapped in leather instead of textured plastic, but in the Viper parts market (read: bare), you can't be too choosy. When you don't look at it from 4 inches away, it blends in and looks oem.

      Carbon plate went on to replace the dealer offering as we waited on one of my buddies neighbors to come home (he had a torque wrench small enough to do the crank pulley bolts). Frame was simple, real hand-laid carbon, and matched the spoiler and diffuser perfectly.

      Neighbor finally returned and we started on the pulley/belt swap. Really easy job, airbox comes out after two thumb screws and the rest is just back breaking acrobatics wrestling the pulley and belt off from behind the clam-shell hood.

      IPSCO pulley vs stocker

      Pulley/Belt Installed. Blue loctite and 200in-lbs.

      Filter was swapped before the airbox went back on. Half the reason for the filter change was because I didn't like the bright white paper element peeking through hood scoop. The black k&n is invisible inside the scoop.

      While I was in the drive-way, Mike was in the backyard cooking up some mud bugs. They were well received;

      Also averaging about 15.5mpg on my first tank, so I got that goin for me.

      Home sweet home;

      Had some buddies over on Sunday;
