Hey guys,

Wondering if it's possible to fill areas like reflectors and sidemarkers with a product like kitty hair? Or is there something that can be used that will set and harden and stay in there and bond with the plastic.

Then sand down and paint.

One shop I talked to said they don't think it would last --- curious what others think or have tried since people shave stuff on bumpers all the time.

Thank you

There are a couple ways to do it. I used 2 different ways, one for each side. The first is you can sand down the side marker to sit flush with the rub strip, the use kitty hair to fill the large gaps, sand then use Bondo (I've seen this DIY on the vortex). The other side I filled the entire gap with a 2 part urethane structural adhesive that is incredibly strong and cures in 1 minute. Sanded, then used Bondo. I guess I'll see which one is better over time.
