So I have been looking for an Audi 100 LS for some time. Always a problem with one pops up, no money, too far, ect. So a few weeks back a buddy of mine sends me a few pics of one in a junk yard not far from me.

Few weeks later I get some more info and this past Tuesday I made the trek to find it in the junk yard.

Upon getting thee I feel its a little rougher than I was hoping.

I try and haggle with the yard owner but he wont budge. I leave and think about it for a few days.

This morning I decided to go back and pick it up.

      Home sweet home

First things first power wash the mung off it.

So I feel its a little better than I originally thought. Plans are to bang out as many dents as possible. Do a mechanical restoration to it and use it. Then asses the body more. There is little or no major rust on this car.

Nice!! I had one of those...in fact my first audi when I was a kid. I still have a 100LS...but this one is a coupe...sadly languishing in my driveway rusting away....wish I could store it inside.

It looks like a good project. They are fun cars to drive, and obviously not very common. Enjoy!

Here is a picture of mine that I have owned for 18 years:

I have been gathering parts this year. My shop had a big expansion this year so most car projects were pushed to the back burner. I did get an extra drive train though.

I need a right fender and hood pretty bad

PM me if you need parts.
I know a guy in Washington state that has a yard of these for parts.
If you have a 5 cylinder, you don't need a stereo.

What is a Homologation car you ask?
