When you kept waking yourself up all night because you were snoring. dur.

I couldn't fall asleep and it took me forever to figure it out - every time I would be right at that relaxation cliff, I would snore. Not loudly, but my head would vibrate and I would wake up hard. This went on for next to ever. I finally figured it out and rolled over onto my side and then it was a very nice hour of sleep.

I hope that I can make it through my IATF 16949 update meeting this afternoon.

See if yours has a defroster timer as well. If that starts short-cycling or not operating propertly, the defrost cycle is interrupted, which also leads to excessive frost build up. Is the compressor running all the time, or is it cycling properly, or running for only a couple of minutes at a time?

I will say that when my wife over-stuffs the freezer and fridge, there's not enough airflow, leading to the same type of issue. The chill in the fridge starts falling off, and the ice isn't the sticky super-dry type that we're used to. We move things around, gorge on leftovers, move frozen items into the freezer chest and in a day or so it's back to normal.

If it's a side by side, there's usually a $100ish valve/flapper thing that regulates airflow between the two sides that can go bad.

Our garage fridge will only get cold in the bottom half when it's hot out there.

If the defrost cycle isn't running, look up the diagnostic codes and you can manually initiate one with button-press combos.
