-Caddy ATS is TINY. I've got shoulders like a Gorilla, but damn, I couldn't even close the passenger side door. Scratch it off the list. Shame, looks nice.
-If all three of my cars were worth 1 CTS-V sedan, I'd sell them and have one.
-Corvette looks good.
-Viper looks better. And I'm not usually a fan of Vipers.
-$70k base Boxster. $90k Cayman S. and these were not cars equipped with goofy stuff. Porsche I love you, and your cars look like sex, but you need to know down your prices by 20% or make some stuff standard. Cue people telling me they don't need to; don't care. A $70k base Boxster is absurd.
-Damn does that Cayman S look sexy though.
-Honda EV-STER? WTf is this? Cool as hell looking, dumbass driving joystick things aside. Don't c0ck it up with a gay 100hp electric engine, Honda, make it perform like a Tesla.
-Ford prices all over the map. Impressed as hell with the $23k Focus ST. Saw a $35k Escape and a $42k Edge. ST is a fantastic deal. Other two rank high on the YGBSM scale.
-Audi q5 for $36k? Not bad. Wait, $4500 package to get Bluetooth? **** you.
-Hoped the new MB SL would look good in person. Nope.
-CLS 63 sure did though. Wow.
-new F type is kinda ugly. And priced right on top of the XK. XK still looks fantastic.
-I think I came in the M6. Damn, that car is sexy as hell. Never really paid attention to it, but something about it is just right.
-Ferrari FF, you're still ugly. I'd take you home, but you're ugly.
-I'm too fat for the seats in a Toyobaru. Oh well.
-sat in an RLX, TSX, and TL. Equipment levels are very different. Styling and quality of materials are not. RLX will fail.
-Overall not impressed with the Japanese. Lexuses were tired as hell, leather all stained and worn from millions of asses. Germans saw same number if asses, held up much better.
-Did still like the RDX; didn't see anything else for +/- $35k that was better. 95% chance we'll be buying one. Fold down rear seat is wicked cool.
-I want an Aventador the same way I want an AR-15 or (to have) a 14" c0ck. Completely impractical, but damn.
-So many hot, slutty looking Eastern European chicks in tiny slutty dresses. Had a raging semi the entire time.
-$2.75 for a 20oz soda? **** you, no.
Pictures to follow.

The Q5 didn't "stack" up well with the RDX? Is it mostly due to price when optioned to be similar, or is it less roomy, or something else? Just curious, as that car seems to get a lot more love than the RDX.

great photos, hope they discover a cure for parkinson's soon

I thought the ATS is fine for room. Where it sucks is rear seat headroom.
And the Convenience package on the Q5 (with bluetooth) is $1k.

To heck with the cars. Do they still sell that terrific fudge at the auto show?![]()
Do you enjoy old cars and long-winded stories about them? If your answer is "yes", then you might enjoy my blogpage. Try it here: http://vwlarry.blogspot.com . Leave a comment, too; I love feedback! Thanx for reading.

20 inch wheels - especially ones that cost $4300 - on a base Boxster IS 'goofy stuff. You are right, 70k is ridiculous for one, same with the 90k S, but the reality is there's really no need to option one up for more than 5 or 6k - all the performance goodness comes baked in thankfully, so all you need is a couple of tweaks to what is already a luxurious and comfortable ride. Not to say that the car is cheap at 55k MSRP, but I think that probably brings it within the realm of possibility for quite a few more folks. Bottom line is, the car is good enough that it is worth being disciplined with the order guide and possibly making a sacrifice or two in terms of options, in order to get it.

The parking is too expensive and so are the tickets. Just like everything else in this overpriced, ripoff town. Paying mucho dinero to watch the Cubs lose another game in their pathetic dump, is another great example of that.

Chris Stack, how were the crowds? When did you get there and how was parking availability at that time? I would assume the second Saturday would be better than the first one, right or no?

Subaru test drive sucked. They were disorganized. Said it was going to be a 15 minute wait, my dad and I walked away 40 minutes later.
Mazda and Dodge marketeers don't know how to assemble snowboards. The two aforementioned companies had boards in roof racks with the bindings mounted incorrectly.
B*tch at Mercedes was really mean when I asked which ones were available with manual transmissions. Like, condescending and rude. "Why would you EVER want that? Our 4000 speed automatic is better"
I sat in the Passat "Performance" (something like that) concept. The Analog clock really contrasts with the carbon fiber dash trim. The VW people weren't too happy with me, though. No freebies from them either.

Why is the pic of the european chick so blurry!?
I stopped going several years back. Did you get any plastic model at the vw booth?
Guy, STOP bitching about the boxster price, I will admit, I have several times in the past. If people were not willing to pay the price, they would not have gotten so expensive

Dude, it looked really good in person. My pic might show how it looked better:
There were huge crowds around the Stingray, but it really didn't look as good as the Viper in person. It still looked great though.
I really appreciated Lexus though. They always bring out some VIP-styled car to the show.

That is good stuff.
Jesus Christ, do you ever stop whining?
Agreed. Every single pic from any angle I've seen is ghastly. I'll hold my judgement on the streetcar until I see one, but blech. And I for one, loved the GT car during the ALMS grid walk

-Is that interior pic from a Porsche or a Nissan? (above it looks like the front of a GTR but no label on it)
-Unable to tell if chick is hot from that angle and distance (or if even really female)
-2014 Corvette looks like 2013 with a ricey body kit.
