Looking for some rare vintage wheels? We just ran a post about these on our blog. From a rarity perspective, we think these might have just about anything one-upped.
It's worth going to the Ebay listing to see all the pics. Shots like this one show that they're actually cast with a bolt pattern in the rear albeit not an Audi bolt pattern. That red Worthersee B5 appears to have had his drilled.
Actually the seller of the wheel is giving some very bad advice....
The wheels he is selling are the centerlock version and the holes are for the pins in that set up. The audi pictured has the multi lug centers like a normal wheel. BBS made two different centers, and under no circumstances should the centerlock version be drilled for multi lug use
The ET38 centrelock BBS’ were always going to need some fettling to get on the B5, centrelock adapters would have given too much poke so the decision was made to drill these to the Audi’s PCD. The work on these is faultless; it’s hard to tell that these didn’t originally come in 5 stud fitment. Needless to say that with some spacing of the rears this thing sits perfect in a way we haven’t seen since the touring car days.
