Why do people like jap styling? I think its hella boring.... Back in the eighties japs were reliable but boring.

Nothing says hot bodied like a beige Mercedes E220 CDI Avantgarde.

I can't wrap my head around how people like this "styling"

It's not even because Hyundai, I liked some of their older designs. These new ones just look like ass.

I don't hate the prius quite as much as I used to because I have seen a few of them fair well on autocross courses so I think there may be some hope for life behind the wheel. I do hate the bumper stickers that seem to come with them though. Are they factory options? Is it something like the crazy liberal option?

Agreed. There are really two flavors of STi owners; Those that actually bring their car to the track, and those that wear flat brimmed hats.

I knew I wasn't going to go to the track as often as I wanted, and I hate Monster/DC, so I settled on a WRX.

I'll toss my hat in the ring for idiotically raised trucks. One of the most obnoxious things I've encountered is the sound is huge knobby tires going 50mph, and cheap drop in 7000k headlights flooding my cabin.

I owned two STI's and didn't do either. Ironically, you'd see more tricked-out WRXs riding around with obnoxious accessories than the more relatively rare STI.

That's definitely true with the used Subaru market. The tide seems to shift after a few years. With how easy the buy in is for entry level WRX's there WOULD be plenty of money left over for stupid stickers and bad shoes.

When a car makes you obnoxious then you are obviously still either wearing diapers or recently learned how to potty.

Cars are just tools, we love using them but to make generalizations about the drivers and depict them with disgust or hate is just immature.

I think any car with the plastered liberal agenda is obnoxious as hell. I see FAR more liberal plasterings than conservative ones...it seems that people with Conservative thinking also are conservative about the number of preachy stickers on their cars.

Anyway, it seems to be a lot of Prius and Subarus with all these Liberal Agenda bumper stickers or old beaten down Hyundais and Toyotas with tons of hipster bands I've never heard of.

I am sick of seeing how green, open-minded, liberal, tree-hugging, smug and smart their kids/dog/choices are....very very preachy....and totally obnoxious.

...and along the same lines...sick of Subaru owners and their charm-bracelety active lifestyle BS:

You haven't seen the Subaru's around these parts have you? Those drivers are all kinds of bat-sh*t crazy.

I once commented to a cop buddy of mine that I should start photographing all the Subes in town because they all, and I mean ALL, have some sort of liberal bumper sticker on them. For instance:

      -I don't shop at Walmart
      -Obama anything
      -Coexist
      -1.29.09
      -War stops a beating heart
      -Bush WTF
      -Diversity
-The blue and yellow equality symbol

And for the record, my wife drives an 02 Outback wagon.

Yes yes, very good, very clever. I actually do dig the idea of making your own, but in the end, it is still a preachy....

Surprised no one has posted the Acura crossover.
