I saw one of these "Fiat Rally" models at the junkyard and thought it was so cool in it's 70's-ness.

The Sundowner package was Ford's answer to the Sandman. There was a Falcon Panel Van version as well. It looks interestingly close to the Pinto package posted in this thread. Same Bubble windows etc. Australia got Sandpiper cars as well.

Much as I hated the 70s for soul-sucking trade of performance for appearance, I am truly enjoying this thread. The more I dig, the more I find and the more I laugh. Some of this stuff is truly great.

Browsing Stangnet.nl turned up quite a few gems.

Ford's Pinto, Maverick and Mustang Sprints.

      Cobra II

      Wonderfully subtle 1977 Cobra graphics

      1979 Mustang Pace car

1976 Stallion package for the Mustang, Pinto and Maverick

      The Awesome Boss Pinto!

That was a heckuva post and I was sitting there scrolling, drooling... dreaming and then suddenly...

      1979 AMX

Damn. That was harsh return to reality. Seriously, a little warning next time.

Yeah, that's a crappy AMX. How about a nicer one?

And some more factory-custom van goodness:

You guys are wrong about the AMX. I would pimp one hard with louvers on the rear hatch. Drop in a 390 or 401 and these little cars are crazy fast.
