Come join Audi Club Northwest and folks from all over America to celebrate the The Frank Beddor Nationals at Quattrofest, Portland International Raceway. Quattrofest 2010's theme is everything Audi in the Northwest. This event will have something for everyone.

If you want to just drive on some very cool roads and hang out with some very cool people you can do that. If you wish to participate in the full driving event you can do that. Or you can just come for the banquet or pick and choose activities depending on your wants.

Start by experiencing the great Northwest in its entirety with two terrific tours to show everyone what the Northwest does best.

Thursdays Tour will head east up the Columbia River Valley where participants will be treated to spectacular views with multiple waterfalls and mountains to look at on the way to the Maryhill Art Museum on the mighty Columbia river. This museum is the worlds largest museum with 6000 acres of land. Starting with the unusual art of a full size replica of Stone Hinge and finishing with the Mary Hill Loops road it boast some of the most interesting and unusual art on the planet. In the building the temporary exhibit at that time will be Comics and Graphic Novels. The permanent exhibits include Auguste Rodin (sculpture), Native American art and culture, Samuel Hill, Marie Queen of Romania, European paintings (mostly British, Dutch and French), Loie Fuller (modern dance), chess sets and much more. You will get to drive the famous Mary Hill Loops road that has been seen on countless commercial advertisements and photographs. The Maryhill area is also one of the largest wind production areas in the United States. You will get to see some of the huge wind generators up close.

Friday's Tour will start south down the Willamette Valley at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum. This museum houses an eclectic group of aircraft including the world famous Spruce Goose which is on permanent display at the museum. After a lunch at the Museum you may choose between three options. One group will head north and enjoy visiting several wineries in the Willamette Valley, which has been recognized as one of the premier Pinot Noir producing areas in the world. Another group will head west to the Oregon coast and take in the spectacular world famous views and great driving roads. You may also choose to spend more time at the Evergreen Aviation Museum and take in an IMAX movie or tour the space wing or for some a once in a lifetime visit into the Spruce Goose.

Saturday the driving event proper starts with our terrific Drivers Education program for novice drivers and lapping for advanced drivers. The Quattrofest driving school has been a fixture at PIR for over 15 years with 2 miles of fresh asphalt for everyone to enjoy. Easy to learn but challenging to perfect, PIR has a 41 year history and has hosted many huge events including CART, IMSA, Trans Am, ALMS, NASCAR, and many other national racing series. Tailor made for driving schools the facility has enough room to simultaneously run lapping while skills exercises are running. This will also allow Quattrofest to have a first for a national event, an autocross. Our experienced instructors will guide you on this process of learning. Go to http://www.audiclubna.org/about-acna-topmenu-33/acna-driving-schools-topmenu-62 to learn more about Audi Club North America schools and curriculum.

For Saturday evening, plan on a terrific dinner banquet at the Red Lion Hotel on the Columbia River, with good company, good food, and an entertaining experience for Audi enthusiasts. We are pleased to welcome former Audi of America Inc. safe driving clinic and new model introduction representative Kathy Rude to our banquet. Kathy will share some photos of her racing background and experiences in helping develop the then-new Audi Quattro Club instructor training program.

Sunday you go back to the track and continue with either instructed lapping in the road course or autocross.
