My car is VW Bora 1.9 TDI SPORT 130 Tiptronic 5 Seep Gearbox 2002 MODEL
      1. Any idea on what may cause an extremely harsh up 1,2,3 and reverse .
I went for diagnose and found the following code:
      ‘Solenoid valve 10-N283’
Any idea what need to change as I asked to different mechanics and every one is telling me different story (change the whole gearbox, change the valve, change the circuit etc..)
      Any idea ????

This is not enough info to make a determination of what you need. A logical starting point would be be to change the n283 solenoid.

Auto trans fluid change or flush will not make a trans fail. Stop spreading the wives tale/urban myth.
