A vehicle that knows no boundaries: Audi is launching the A4 allroad quattro. With its permanent all-wheel drive and increased ground clearance, the A4 can handle any road or trail; it also offers driving pleasure – even on unpaved surfaces. Naturally, the Audi A4 allroad quattro features all the innovative technologies which impart to the A4 model line its superiority: a range of powerful and highly energy-efficient engines, Audi drive select (intelligent handling technology), the high-tech S tronic transmission, and innovative communication and assistance systems. The vehicle will be available in early summer at a basic price of 37,100 euros.

Audi please bring it on over!! This could be my next car. It looks like they included the seats and wheel from the sport package.

Unfortunately, I doubt Audi will bring it over given Q5 has more viable margin than allroad.

The car I've been waiting for, now I hope Audi brings it to the North American market!!

that was a test mule before the B8 avant was revealed

I'm sad that the 3.0 TDI won't come in manual, even in Europe. That car with a manual would be more or less the ultimate vehicle in my mind.

I like it. These Allroad models seem to be just the answer for those who need real snow clearance with a stylish package. Audi should definitely bring it to the USA.

2 questions I hope to get answers for before I buy a B8 avant:
1. does it come with an adjustable air suspension like the A6 Allroad? (looks like it doesn't)
2. can we get those roof rails on the normal A4 Avant?

This is the ultimate Avant and so much sleeker than the last allroad. Please bring this to NA!

... if they do offer the pneumatic suspension, they'd have to make some serious improvements over the suspension design of the C5 Allroad for me to even consider another one. mind you all the problems you'll encounter would be covered under warranty. I've just about had it with the suspension in my allroad.
having said that, If they brought a deisel 6 speed manual version over, I'd want one (with coilovers though!)

If you don't want to wait any longer you could just go buy an Outback 2.5T with more HP for about 10k less than this car will cost, since its pretty much an A4 Outback.

Might be an upscale Outback but since Subaru was the only manufacturer to register a 2008 year over year sales INCREASE in the US, Audi might be wise to bring this stateside! It would definitely be on my short list.

Good point. Audi may already be thinking the same way. Audi sells the Q5 and A4 avant. Adding the A4 allroad version will be easy for Audiusa. Subaru sells both the Forester and the Legacy wagon with an Outback version of Legacy.
I want the A4 allroad!
