The SEAT Ibiza Vaillante is a comic-book hero fantasy come true. It was created by the SEAT Design Centre in Martorell, whose aim was to suggest the driver of a fictional car could be transported to a make-believe world and participate in the most unexpected adventures. For this reason, SEAT does not plan to manufacture a production model Vaillante, or to sell one in the future. Quite simply, it is a virtual car inspired by comic-strip fantasy for this motor show only, whose mission is to highlight SEAT’s sporty and young image, while also enhancing the launch of the new Ibiza 2006 range... cool!

It's too bad. I really hate the new design direction Seat has gone. And now the first rendition of the "new look" that I actually like won't ever go into to production.

...of course, even if it did my Indiana arse wouldn't be able to get one anyway.

Agreed. The Z4 coupe BMW showed at the Detroit Auto Show was a satin silver. It was really nicely done.

It's a very Alfa Romeo look. This is a 3-door Alfa 147 from their web site. Aren't they coming to the states? The Alfa 156 was the best rental car I have had in Europe in recent years, not great to look at but excellent brakes, handling and gearbox. Actually the only car I've driven recently that had a useful 1st gear since it was tall enough to use on tight corners, slow off the line though, but then Europeans aren't fixated on drag racing.

    Wow. Holy thread revival batman.

I started to read it and think about the car forming an opinion. Then I started to read the other posts and I'm like "wow, that first guy said exactly what I was thinking....and he's from Indiana!"

Then I realized it was me.
