The Roadjet isn't the only Audi with a B&O system... The A8 6.0 has one, too...http://www.bang-olufsen.com/audi/ Check it out.

I simply can't find anything good what so ever to say about B&O other than it looks very cool... so I'll just sit back and watch.

Same here.. They've never quite impressed me. I'd prefer a BOSE stock radio over a B&O stock radio anyway.

I've been exposed to lots of B&O products over the past 10 years... I have an home stereo system from B&O that my dad got for his 40th birthday, never figured out how to use it, and gave it to me. Although it is very clear, I agree with the folks here that its very overpriced and isn't exactly all that extraordinary. I even had a set of their latest headphones... and again, clear, but not worth the money. Thank god I was able to return them, I found a set of Shure headphones that blew these out of the water... I can, however, see why Audi has teamed up with B&O: like other aspects of their marketing campagne, its a prestige thing. Gotta look at it from their angle as they've placed themselves into sponsorship for the Concourse d'Elegance, Le Mans, etc. For a stock stereo, most people will be more then satisfied with a basic setup, even moreso if you opt for the premium B&O setup.

You guys are aware this is IIRC a 7 THOUSAND dollar option?

Backround: I am an IASCA competitor, have been to the finals back when it mattered. (98-00 FYI)

Im running an all Focal setup im sure embarrases the B&O system, and it can easily be purchased and installed for less than 7 grand. Not that it has anything to do with sq at all but my system can do 145 DB at 20hz, should i need to call whales in martha's vinyard.

Where is the "Radio Delete" checkbox?

If B&O delivered the sound, who delivered the espresso machine?

Chrysler beat them by, oh, about 50 years. (55/56 New Yorker)

FWIW, Bose systems are not great at all. IMO, the "symphony" system in my A4 sounds better than the Bose unit. As stated by any audiophile, putting good systems in a car is a waste of time and resources anyhow. Put that $7K into a good home system and you'll be well rewarded.

B&O wouldn't be my first choice for speakers/amps anyway.
