Any idea how much these will cost to order and retrofit to our US vehicles?

No. As of yet, there's been no indication on when/if/ or price on bringing them into the country. Recaro sells their version of the TT quattro Sport seat here already. It's possible they could begin selling a non RS 4 branded version of the seat that could then be retrofitted into other Audis.

Interestingly, I took a look at the seat for the new R32, which is similar... though doesn't have the bolster adjustment that this seat does. They're both made by Recaro. As I sort through my Frankfurt press kits and have time to get back to it and post them on Vortex, I'll post them in here.

What I'm wondering is if the 3-door R32 uses the same 3-leg design as the A4/S4 Cabriolet, which I'm told shares design with the A3 3-door. Further, I'm wondering if a 4-door R seat would fit an A3 5-door or even A4. It's all conjecture, as we haven't even determined if the R32 seat will have a side airbag yet, but if it did, then maybe re-skinning an R32 seat with the Audi hide MIGHT be doable for a US retrofit. That said, the seats do appear to have distinct differences, but perhaps just shapes of upholstery segementation is what I'm hoping.
